COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify vs SimpleBanner+for Shopify (2026)
COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify and SimpleBanner+ are Shopify apps serving distinct purposes, despite both falling under the 'Notifications' category. COD King addresses a specific pain point for merchants experiencing high rates of Return To Origin (RTO) or Return To Sender (RTS) on Cash On Delivery (COD) orders. It aims to reduce these losses by verifying order intent via OTP and incentivizing prepaid orders through discounts and partial payments, mainly for merchants in India & Egypt. SimpleBanner+, on the other hand, provides a visual way to direct visitors to specific pages within a store through simple, linked image banners. The core difference lies in their value proposition. COD King focuses on operational efficiency and revenue protection related to COD orders, targeting merchants struggling with high return rates and unserious buyers. It offers a suite of features centered around OTP verification, partial payments, and COD fee implementation. Conversely, SimpleBanner+ centers on improving the visual appeal and user experience of a store, providing a simple way to highlight specific products or promotions through banners without requiring coding knowledge. It is targeted at merchants looking for visually appealing way to make offers or promotions.
