COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify vs Warnify Pro Warningsfor Shopify (2026)
COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify and Warnify Pro Warnings are both Shopify apps that utilize notifications, but they cater to vastly different needs. COD King focuses on optimizing Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, reducing return-to-origin (RTO) rates and fraudulent orders by implementing OTP verification, upfront payments, and COD fees. It's designed for merchants, particularly in India and Egypt, who struggle with COD-related issues and want to increase profitability by converting COD orders to prepaid and filtering unserious buyers. Warnify Pro Warnings, on the other hand, is designed for broader communication needs. It allows merchants to display warning popups related to shipping delays, pre-order items, product availability, and general announcements. It is a more general-purpose notification tool that can be used to proactively inform customers about potential issues before they complete their purchase, ultimately improving customer satisfaction and reducing support inquiries. While both apps share the 'Notifications' category on Shopify, their core functionality and target audience diverge significantly.

Our Verdict
The choice between COD King and Warnify Pro Warnings hinges entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If a merchant is primarily concerned with reducing COD-related issues, particularly RTO/RTS and fake orders, then COD King is the clear choice, especially if they operate in India or Egypt where the app has specific support.
However, if a merchant needs a versatile tool to proactively inform customers about various issues, such as shipping delays, pre-order status, or important announcements, Warnify Pro Warnings is the better option. It offers a more general-purpose solution for improving customer communication and managing expectations before checkout. A merchant could use *both* apps: COD King for COD optimization and Warnify Pro for general notifications.
