COD PRO ‑ OTPs & AI Marketing vs Codify CODfor Shopify (2026)
COD PRO ‑ OTPs & AI Marketing and Codify COD both aim to help Shopify merchants manage Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, but they approach the problem from different angles and cater to different needs. COD PRO emphasizes a comprehensive verification system using multiple channels like WhatsApp, IVR calls, SMS, and email, boasting global verification capabilities and new AI marketing tools. It seemingly targets merchants looking for a robust, automated solution with marketing add-ons, though the lack of reviews raises concerns. In contrast, Codify COD focuses on granular control over COD availability and fees, offering features to limit COD based on product, collection, zip code, or order value, alongside OTP verification. It positions itself as a tool to reduce RTO losses and is backed by positive reviews, appealing to merchants prioritizing loss prevention and flexible COD restrictions.

Our Verdict
Given the current data, Codify COD appears to be the safer choice due to its positive reviews and clear focus on loss prevention through granular COD controls. Merchants struggling with high RTO rates and needing specific restriction options should strongly consider Codify COD. COD PRO, while promising a more comprehensive solution with multiple verification channels and AI marketing features, lacks user validation, making it a riskier choice for merchants who prioritize proven performance. If you're willing to take a chance on a new app with potentially broader capabilities, COD PRO might be worth exploring *after* it gathers some positive reviews. The AI marketing claim, while tempting, should be approached with caution until its effectiveness can be demonstrated.
Common Questions

COD PRO offers verification across multiple channels (WhatsApp, IVR, SMS, Email), potentially reaching a wider audience. Codify COD uses OTP verification specifically on the Thank You and Order Status pages.
Which app is better for reducing RTO (Return to Origin) losses?
Codify COD is explicitly designed to reduce RTO losses by allowing merchants to limit COD availability based on various criteria and verify orders with OTP. COD PRO aims to reduce address issues, but is less explicit about reducing RTO losses through control.
