COD PRO ‑ OTPs & AI Marketing vs Snap Cash On Delivery: COD Feefor Shopify (2026)
COD PRO ‑ OTPs & AI Marketing and Snap Cash On Delivery: COD Fee take different approaches to managing Cash on Delivery (COD) orders on Shopify. COD PRO focuses on verifying COD orders and leveraging AI for marketing, offering features like automated OTP verification via multiple channels (WhatsApp, IVR Calls, SMS, Email), address validation, and a suite of AI marketing tools. This app positions itself as a comprehensive solution to streamline COD order verification and drive store growth. Snap Cash On Delivery, on the other hand, concentrates on minimizing fraudulent COD orders and encouraging prepaid payments. It offers functionalities to limit or hide COD payment options based on order value, weight, customer profile, and product selection, and detect high-risk fraudulent customers through order history and IP analysis. The core difference lies in their objective. COD PRO aims to facilitate COD orders securely and utilize AI for marketing, whereas Snap Cash On Delivery aims to mitigate the risks associated with COD, reducing returns and operational costs. Merchants seeking to optimize and verify COD orders while leveraging AI for growth will find COD PRO more appealing, whereas those primarily concerned with preventing fraud and shifting customers to prepaid options should consider Snap Cash On Delivery. Both apps cater to Shopify merchants dealing with COD orders, but their focus and feature sets address distinct pain points within the COD order management process.

Our Verdict
For merchants experiencing high rates of fraudulent COD orders and looking to minimize risks and operational costs, Snap Cash On Delivery: COD Fee is likely the better choice. Its features specifically target fraud prevention and encourage prepaid payments, helping to improve profitability. However, due to the extremely limited review data, this recommendation should be weighed carefully.
If a merchant is focused on providing a smooth and secure COD experience for legitimate customers, and also wants to explore AI-driven marketing tools to boost sales, COD PRO ‑ OTPs & AI Marketing could be a better fit. Its multi-channel verification and address validation features aim to reduce failed deliveries and enhance customer trust. However, the absence of reviews and a rating makes its reliability uncertain. Merchants should proceed with caution, and ideally test the app thoroughly before committing to it. More reliable decision making will be available once the apps are more fully fleshed out.
