COD Toolkit by Breeze vs Post Purchase Upsell—ReSellfor Shopify (2026)
COD Toolkit by Breeze and Post Purchase Upsell—ReSell are both Shopify apps competing in the "Checkout - Other" category, but they address entirely different merchant needs. COD Toolkit focuses on providing granular control over Cash on Delivery (COD) payment options, allowing merchants to block COD based on specific rules, customize the payment option name, and manage COD availability. Its strengths lie in risk mitigation and tailored customer experiences related to COD. Post Purchase Upsell—ReSell, on the other hand, aims to increase Average Order Value (AOV) and revenue through upsell and cross-sell offers presented after the initial purchase, including on the thank you page. The primary difference lies in their objectives: COD Toolkit helps manage and optimize an existing payment method, while Post Purchase Upsell—ReSell focuses on revenue generation through strategic product recommendations and offers. COD Toolkit is ideal for merchants who struggle with COD-related issues or want more control over its availability. Post Purchase Upsell—ReSell is better suited for merchants seeking to maximize sales and increase AOV by leveraging post-purchase opportunities.
