Codem: Cart Limiter vs LIMITER Order Limitsfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Codem: Cart Limiter and LIMITER Order Limits are faced with two apps aiming to control cart and order quantities, but they differ significantly in reputation and features. Codem: Cart Limiter focuses on basic cart limitation features like setting price thresholds, quantity limits, and weight limits. Its headline emphasizes ease of use and streamlined management, likely targeting merchants seeking simple, straightforward solutions for preventing excessively large carts. LIMITER Order Limits, on the other hand, appears to offer a more comprehensive approach. It prioritizes customizability and targeting, allowing merchants to create complex rules based on products, collections, cart items, order amounts, and even customer tags. The app advertises features like conditional logic for inventory control and pre-defined templates for quick setup. This suggests it is aimed at merchants requiring more granular control over order quantities and needing to cater to different customer segments (e.g., wholesalers vs. retail customers). The substantial difference in reviews and ratings further reinforces the disparity between the two.
