CodForm ‑ COD Form & Upsells vs Partialy ‑ Partial Payment CODfor Shopify (2026)
CodForm - COD Form & Upsells and Partialy - Partial Payment COD both cater to merchants using Cash on Delivery, but they address distinct aspects of the COD process. CodForm focuses on optimizing the COD order process with a 1-click form, upsells, and automated communication, aiming to increase conversion rates and AOV. It also emphasizes order tracking and pixel integration for marketing purposes. Partialy, on the other hand, centers around managing payment flexibility with partial payments, deposits, and advanced COD rules, aiming to reduce Return to Origin (RTO) and improve sales by offering more payment options to customers. The primary difference lies in their core functionalities. CodForm is an optimization tool for boosting AOV and conversion *after* the customer chooses COD, using upsells and simplified forms. Partialy is about *modifying* the COD process itself, offering alternatives like partial payments and tiered COD rules. CodForm appears to target merchants who want to maximize the value of each COD order through upsells and seamless confirmation, while Partialy seems to target merchants facing high RTO rates or wanting to offer more flexible payment plans to their customers, especially for higher-value items or pre-orders.

Our Verdict
Choosing between CodForm and Partialy depends heavily on the specific needs of the Shopify merchant. If the primary goal is to enhance the COD order process with upsells, simplified forms, and marketing pixel integration to increase AOV, CodForm is the better choice, despite the limited number of reviews. However, the lower rating should warrant further investigation of those reviews.
If the main concern is high RTO rates or the need to offer flexible payment plans to customers, particularly for higher-value items or pre-orders, Partialy is the superior option. The higher rating and larger number of reviews suggest a more reliable and well-received app for its intended purpose. While CodForm offers a streamlined COD process, Partialy provides a more fundamental solution by addressing payment barriers and order fulfillment issues.
