CodForm ‑ COD Form & Upsells and Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) both aim to enhance cash-on-delivery order processes on Shopify. Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on maximizing Average Order Value (AOV) through aggressive upselling and leveraging WhatsApp for customer engagement, CodForm might be a suitable choice, despite its lower rating and limited review count. However, it's crucial to carefully evaluate if the focus on upsells aligns with their brand and customer experience goals.
Progus COD appears to be the stronger option for merchants who require fine-grained control over their COD process, especially those dealing with geographical complexities, varied product margins, or a high risk of failed deliveries. The 5/5 rating, although based on limited reviews, inspires greater confidence and the promise of extensive language support makes it ideal for international businesses. Considering that both apps have a low amount of reviews, testing both would be ideal. Overall, Progus COD provides more robust features.
