CodForm - COD Form & Upsells focuses on streamlining the COD ordering process and increasing Average Order Value (AOV) through upsells and improved customer communication via WhatsApp. It aims to create a frictionless ordering experience with customizable forms and automatic WhatsApp confirmations, while also providing marketing insights via tracking pixels. RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee, on the other hand, centers on providing greater control over COD payment options by allowing merchants to add fees and manage eligibility based on various conditions. The core difference lies in their primary focus. CodForm is about optimizing the COD ordering experience and boosting sales, targeting merchants looking to improve conversions and AOV. RUBIX COD is geared toward managing the risks associated with COD by enabling merchants to recoup some of the costs and limit COD availability. Both apps serve the cash-on-delivery (COD) market on Shopify, but they address fundamentally different aspects of it.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on increasing AOV and streamlining the COD ordering process with a modern, user-friendly experience and WhatsApp integration, CodForm is the better option, despite the lower rating and fewer reviews. Its emphasis on upsells and automated communication can lead to higher revenue. However, due to its lower rating, proceed with caution and thoroughly test the app.
If, on the other hand, the primary concern is managing the costs and risks associated with COD orders, and you need features like COD fees and conditional eligibility, RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee is the clear choice. The higher rating and positive reviews suggest a more stable and reliable solution for basic COD management. Its focus is on practicality and control rather than sales optimization, making it suitable for merchants prioritizing profitability over AOV within their COD strategy.
