Codify ‑ Order Edit vs Shopwaive Credit, Loyalty & AIfor Shopify (2026)
Codify ‑ Order Edit and Shopwaive Credit, Loyalty & AI both aim to improve the customer experience but take drastically different approaches. Codify focuses solely on order editing, providing merchants with the ability to modify orders after they've been placed. Shopwaive, on the other hand, is a comprehensive platform encompassing credit, loyalty programs, AI-powered assistance, and flexible payment options. This makes Shopwaive a broader solution targeted toward merchants seeking to enhance customer loyalty and streamline payment processes, while Codify is a more specialized tool for direct order management. The primary difference lies in their scope. Codify is a focused tool for resolving post-order issues related to accuracy. Shopwaive presents itself as an enterprise-level solution offering a wide range of features from loyalty programs and AI business assistance to headless commerce APIs and direct deposit options for employees. Shopwaive also seems to be targeting B2B merchants with features like B2B drafts and credit approvals. This difference in scope also impacts ease of use; Codify, with its singular function, is likely easier to implement, while Shopwaive, while powerful, might require more initial setup and configuration.

Our Verdict
For smaller merchants or those primarily concerned with efficiently editing orders, Codify ‑ Order Edit provides a streamlined solution. If order editing is the only missing piece in your business, Codify will suffice. It will get the job done with a much simpler learning curve.
Shopwaive Credit, Loyalty & AI is better suited for larger businesses, especially those operating in B2B or D2C environments, that are seeking a comprehensive platform to manage customer loyalty, payment options, and leverage AI-driven insights. The breadth of features allows merchants to build a robust and engaging customer experience. Shopwaive requires more initial setup, but the larger set of features it offers can dramatically enhance many areas of your business. Shopwaive is more of an all-in-one solution compared to Codify's focused nature.
