Our Verdict
Choosing between Cohley and Sclips depends heavily on the merchant's existing content strategy and immediate needs. Cohley is a good fit for merchants who lack high-quality product imagery and videos and are willing to invest time in commissioning original content from creators. Its review generation capabilities are also valuable. Sclips, conversely, benefits merchants who already have a strong presence on platforms like TikTok and Instagram and want to leverage existing video content for shoppable experiences on their Shopify store. Sclips provides a faster and more direct route to increasing engagement and conversions using pre-existing materials.
