Collentix Import/Export vs Pushy | Out Of Stock Push Downfor Shopify (2026)
Collentix Import/Export and Pushy | Out Of Stock Push Down both address Shopify collections, but cater to drastically different needs. Collentix is positioned as a bulk management tool for collections, focusing on import, export, and editing using Excel. It targets merchants who need to migrate collections, set up new stores, or perform extensive changes to collection data, including SEO metadata and templates. Conversely, Pushy aims to improve the customer shopping experience by automatically pushing out-of-stock products to the bottom of collections, ensuring that in-stock items are displayed first. The core difference lies in their functionality: Collentix focuses on backend data manipulation and migration, while Pushy prioritizes frontend user experience and inventory management. Collentix's strength lies in its ability to handle large-scale collection modifications with preservation of SEO data and templates. Pushy's advantage is its automatic, real-time updating of collections based on inventory status, requiring no manual intervention or theme changes. The significantly different ratings and review counts further highlight Pushy's perceived value and Collentix's lack of market validation to date.

Our Verdict
Pushy | Out Of Stock Push Down is the clear winner for most merchants looking to enhance their customers' shopping experience without manual intervention. Its automatic inventory-based sorting provides immediate value. The high rating and positive reviews, while few in number, suggest a well-received and functional app. Collentix Import/Export, on the other hand, is a niche tool best suited for merchants facing specific data migration or bulk editing challenges. The lack of reviews, despite its focused feature set, raises concerns about its reliability and user-friendliness. Unless you have a specific need for Excel-based collection management, Pushy offers a more compelling and user-friendly solution. It’s possible Collentix is new to the market and just hasn't gained traction yet, but the risk is higher.
