Color Swatch King: Variants vs Image Size Chart Advancedfor Shopify (2026)
Color Swatch King: Variants and Image Size Chart Advanced are both Shopify apps catering to product presentation, but they address distinct aspects. Color Swatch King focuses on improving the variant selection process through visual aids like color swatches, image swatches, and variant-specific pricing, primarily targeting merchants with products that have multiple variations (e.g., clothing, electronics). Its features aim to streamline browsing and purchasing by enabling quick comparison and informed decision-making for customers. The app also includes features to hide out-of-stock variants and split product variants. It supports integrations with various Shopify systems such as Markets, B2B, and filtering. Image Size Chart Advanced, on the other hand, concentrates solely on providing size charts to customers. It enables merchants to upload pre-existing size chart images and display them in pop-ups on product pages. The app emphasizes ease of use and compatibility, allowing merchants to upload different size charts for different collections and optimize them for mobile and desktop. It primarily benefits businesses, especially those selling clothing and footwear, where size information is crucial for purchase decisions. While Image Size Chart Advanced offers customization options for link text and styling, it doesn't generate the size charts themselves; they must be provided as images.

Our Verdict
Color Swatch King: Variants is the superior choice for merchants seeking to enhance their product variant selection process with visual swatches, variant-specific pricing, and bulk upload capabilities. It directly improves the browsing and purchasing experience for products with many options and helps to increase conversion rates. Its integration support strengthens its value proposition.
Image Size Chart Advanced is a focused solution for merchants who need a simple, effective way to display pre-made size charts. While highly rated, the very low number of reviews indicates limited adoption as of 2026. If your primary need is to easily display size charts and you already have the chart images prepared, Image Size Chart Advanced can be a good option. However, the specialized nature of the app and its reliance on existing images limit its overall utility compared to the broader capabilities of Color Swatch King.
