Our Verdict
For merchants already using the Commission Factory platform and seeking a simplified affiliate marketing solution with access to a pre-existing network, Commission Factory *might* be a viable option. However, the lack of reviews and the requirement of an existing Commission Factory advertiser account are significant drawbacks.
Enlistly Affiliate, Influencer appears to be the superior choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its strong rating, numerous reviews, and focus on customization and automation make it ideal for businesses seeking greater control over their affiliate and influencer marketing programs. The payment flexibility and branded onboarding features further enhance its appeal. Enlistly allows a merchant to build their own network of affiliates and influencers, and manage payouts using the merchant's preferred system. The data strongly suggests that Enlistly offers a more robust and user-friendly solution.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Commission Factory claims to integrate in minutes, but requires a pre-existing Commission Factory advertiser account. Enlistly emphasizes automation, suggesting a straightforward setup process, especially with its branded onboarding feature. Without reviews for Commission Factory, it's difficult to definitively say which is easier, but the existing Commission Factory account requirement may be a barrier.
Which app is better for influencer marketing?
Enlistly Affiliate, Influencer explicitly focuses on influencer marketing, offering custom affiliate links, codes, and referral URLs designed for influencer campaigns. While Commission Factory mentions influencers within its broader affiliate network, it does not offer the same level of tailored features for influencer marketing.
Which app provides better control over affiliate payouts?
Enlistly Affiliate, Influencer offers greater control over affiliate payouts, allowing merchants to use their preferred payment methods. The payment process for Commission Factory is presumably managed through the Commission Factory platform itself which may have limitations.
Which app is best for merchants on a tight budget?
Pricing information is not available for either app, so it's impossible to determine which is more budget-friendly. Merchants should research the pricing plans for each app to compare costs.
If I want to connect to existing affiliate networks, which app should I choose?
Commission Factory is likely the better choice if you are already utilizing the Commission Factory network. Enlistly seems better suited for building and maintaining your *own* network of affiliates.
