Complaint Guru vs Hola! ‑ Whatsapp Review & CODfor Shopify (2026)
Complaint Guru and Hola! ‑ Whatsapp Review & COD are both Shopify apps aimed at improving customer experience, but they approach it from drastically different angles. Complaint Guru focuses specifically on post-purchase issue resolution through a dedicated complaint page, offering a streamlined system for tracking, prioritizing, and resolving customer complaints. It aims to enhance brand reputation and customer retention by efficiently addressing negative feedback. In contrast, Hola! ‑ Whatsapp Review & COD takes a proactive approach, focusing on pre-purchase order confirmation, abandoned cart recovery, and soliciting reviews via various communication channels like call, SMS, WhatsApp, and email. It seems geared towards boosting sales and engagement by actively reaching out to customers. The primary difference lies in their respective objectives. Complaint Guru is a reactive tool for managing existing issues, suitable for merchants who prioritize efficient complaint handling. Hola! ‑ Whatsapp Review & COD, on the other hand, is a proactive tool designed to increase conversions and gather feedback by actively engaging customers throughout their purchasing journey. Choosing between the two depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs: addressing existing negative feedback versus maximizing sales and customer engagement through various outreach methods.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with a high volume of complaints and looking for a structured way to manage them, Complaint Guru seems like the better choice. Its dedicated complaint page and tracking features provide a focused solution for improving customer support and mitigating negative feedback. However, with only two reviews, it's hard to validate long-term performance.
Conversely, if a merchant is primarily focused on driving sales, recovering abandoned carts, and actively gathering reviews, Hola! ‑ Whatsapp Review & COD is the more suitable option. Its multi-channel communication capabilities allow for proactive engagement with customers throughout the sales funnel. Although it has no reviews yet, if the feature set meets your sales needs, it could be worth trying. Given the lack of reviews for both apps, starting with a trial of each is recommended to determine the best fit for your specific business requirements.
