Compose ‑ A/B Testing vs FavSEO ‑ SEO & Page Speedfor Shopify (2026)
Compose ‑ A/B Testing and FavSEO ‑ SEO & Page Speed, while both falling under the 'Site optimization - Other' Shopify category, serve fundamentally different purposes. Compose focuses on conversion rate optimization (CRO) through A/B testing, empowering merchants to experiment with website elements and themes to improve performance. It positions itself as a flexible, no-code solution that scales with a business and caters to various CRO budgets, offering an alternative to more expensive platforms. Its key strength lies in its ability to run unlimited experiments with unlimited variants and audience segmentation, enabling data-driven decisions based on user behavior. FavSEO, on the other hand, is an SEO tool designed to enhance a store's visibility in search engine results. It allows merchants to edit and optimize crucial SEO elements like title tags and meta descriptions, analyze keyword opportunities, and track keyword rankings. With features such as a bulk editor and integration with Google Webmaster Tools, FavSEO aims to streamline SEO efforts and improve page speed. Therefore, the target audience differs significantly: Compose aims at merchants focused on conversion optimization and experimentation, while FavSEO caters to those prioritizing search engine visibility and organic traffic growth.

Our Verdict
The choice between Compose and FavSEO depends entirely on a merchant's priorities. If the goal is to enhance website conversion rates through experimentation and A/B testing, Compose is the clear winner. Its focus on no-code flexibility and unlimited variants makes it suitable for businesses of varying sizes and technical expertise.
However, if the primary objective is to improve search engine visibility and organic traffic, FavSEO is the more appropriate choice. Its SEO audit, rank tracking, and sitemap submission features provide valuable tools for optimizing a store's online presence. While both apps offer site optimization, their approaches are distinct, and merchants should carefully consider their specific needs before making a decision.
