Our Verdict
For merchants whose primary business model revolves around selling memberships and subscriptions that *may* include digital downloads, Conjured Memberships is likely the better choice. This is especially true if their priority is building a recurring revenue stream.
However, if a merchant's sole focus is on selling and managing digital products such as ebooks, software, music, or digital art, and they require granular control over downloads, security, and branding, Digital Downloads ‑ MEGA emerges as the superior option due to its specific features for digital asset management and the higher rating. The emphasis on unlimited downloads, licensing, branding and custom files per order makes it more appropriate for those specializing in digital products.
