ConnectPOS vs Measura: Sell by Weight & Morefor Shopify (2026)
ConnectPOS and Measura: Sell by Weight & More both target Shopify merchants seeking in-person (POS) selling capabilities, but their focus and feature sets differ significantly. ConnectPOS positions itself as a comprehensive, next-generation POS platform for unified online-to-offline operations. It emphasizes broad functionality including inventory management, staff management, loyalty programs, and customization options across diverse industries. Measura, on the other hand, specializes in selling by measurement (weight, length, volume, area), catering to businesses that rely on precise, measurement-based sales and fractional inventory management. The core difference lies in their target audience and value proposition. ConnectPOS aims to serve a wide range of merchants, particularly those with multiple locations or complex business needs. Measura specifically targets businesses like grocery stores, butcheries, and fabric stores that require selling products by precise measurements. While ConnectPOS offers a wide array of features for general POS functionality, Measura excels in the niche of managing fractional inventory and measurement-based pricing, a function not available in ConnectPOS based on the provided data.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing a full-featured POS system with broad functionality and integrations, ConnectPOS is the better choice. Its customizable features, multiple location support, and diverse options cater to a wider range of business types. However, if a merchant's primary need is selling products by weight, length, volume, or area, and managing fractional inventory with precision, Measura: Sell by Weight & More is the clear winner. Its specialized features and focus on measurement-based sales make it ideal for grocery stores, butcheries, and similar businesses.
While Measura has a perfect 5-star rating, the low number of reviews (14) compared to ConnectPOS (113) suggests that its rating might not be as statistically significant. Therefore, merchants should consider the specific needs of their business and carefully evaluate whether the specialized features of Measura outweigh the broader functionality and established reputation of ConnectPOS.
