ConnectPOS vs Synkro: Inventory Syncfor Shopify (2026)
ConnectPOS and Synkro: Inventory Sync serve distinct needs within the Shopify ecosystem. ConnectPOS positions itself as a comprehensive point-of-sale (POS) solution, aiming to unify online and offline operations with features like inventory management, staff management, and loyalty programs. It caters to merchants seeking an all-in-one platform to manage their business across multiple channels and locations. Synkro, on the other hand, focuses specifically on simplifying multi-store management by offering real-time inventory and product syncing. The critical difference lies in their scope. ConnectPOS provides a complete POS system, handling everything from in-store transactions to customer loyalty. Synkro's strength is its inventory sync capabilities, automating processes that would otherwise require manual data entry across multiple Shopify stores. While ConnectPOS supports a wider range of functionalities, Synkro offers targeted functionality for a very specific purpose: simplifying managing multiple Shopify stores. Their customer support team is also a strong feature that sets them apart.

Our Verdict
The choice between ConnectPOS and Synkro hinges on a merchant's specific needs. If a merchant requires a robust POS system with features such as self-checkout, loyalty programs, and multi-currency support for managing both online and physical stores, ConnectPOS is the better choice. It offers a complete solution for businesses operating across multiple channels.
However, merchants who primarily manage multiple Shopify stores and need to ensure accurate and real-time inventory synchronization should opt for Synkro. Synkro's real-time syncing and auto-clone features are invaluable for businesses focused on managing multiple online storefronts and dynamic pricing strategies. The higher rating, focus on customer service, and specific functionality make it the stronger choice for multi-store online retailers.
