Our Verdict
For merchants struggling to create compelling product descriptions and SEO content, especially in multiple languages, Content Genius AI might be a helpful starting point. However, the very low number of reviews (2) raises concerns about its reliability and widespread adoption. Geolocation & Markets—Selecty is a much stronger choice for merchants actively using or planning to use Shopify Markets or Global-e Managed Markets to expand internationally. The high rating (5/5) and large number of reviews (262) suggest a more established and reliable app. If your primary goal is optimizing the *customer experience* for international shoppers, then Geolocation & Markets—Selecty is the clear winner.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a store targeting primarily English-speaking customers?
If you are exclusively targeting English-speaking customers, Geolocation & Markets—Selecty's features are less relevant. Content Genius AI might still be useful for improving SEO content, but the limited reviews make it a riskier choice.
Does Content Genius AI automatically detect customer location like Geolocation & Markets—Selecty?
No, Content Genius AI focuses on content creation and does not offer geolocation features for customer targeting.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Content Genius AI is marketed as 'Easy to use'. Geolocation & Markets—Selecty likely requires more configuration due to the complexity of managing multiple markets and geolocation settings. However, without trial access, it is difficult to say for sure.
If I need both AI content creation and geolocation, do I need both apps?

How does Geolocation & Markets—Selecty help with Shopify Markets?
Geolocation & Markets—Selecty enhances Shopify Markets by automatically redirecting customers to the appropriate market based on their location, displaying prices in local currency, and showing content in their local language. This creates a seamless and localized shopping experience.
