Conversion Bear Trust Badges vs EZ Add Custom Fontfor Shopify (2026)
Conversion Bear Trust Badges and EZ Add Custom Font, while both related to design elements within a Shopify store, cater to vastly different needs and target audiences. Conversion Bear focuses on enhancing customer trust and conversion rates by allowing merchants to easily integrate customizable trust badges and payment icons throughout their store. This app directly addresses concerns about security and reliability, aiming to reduce customer hesitation during the purchase process. In contrast, EZ Add Custom Font, despite its perfect rating, seems narrowly focused on allowing merchants to use custom fonts on their Shopify site. The key difference lies in their value proposition. Conversion Bear provides a tangible benefit: increased sales through enhanced trust. Its vast library of badges, customization options, and strategic placement features are designed to directly impact conversion metrics. EZ Add Custom Font, on the other hand, offers aesthetic control. It allows merchants to customize their store's typography, potentially aligning it more closely with their brand identity. The significantly different number of reviews also suggests that Conversion Bear Trust Badges has seen wider adoption, potentially indicating a greater perceived need for its functionality among Shopify merchants.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with improving their conversion rates and addressing potential customer security concerns, Conversion Bear Trust Badges is the clear choice. Its extensive feature set, focused on building trust, offers a direct path to increased sales. The higher number of reviews further supports the app's effectiveness and popularity.
EZ Add Custom Font caters to a niche audience focused on brand aesthetics and typography. While important for visual consistency, its impact on conversion rates is likely less direct. If a merchant's primary goal is to refine their store's visual branding through custom fonts, then EZ Add Custom Font may be suitable. However, Conversion Bear Trust Badges provides a more robust solution for directly improving business outcomes.
