Conversion Bear Trust Badges vs Searchanise Trust & FOMOfor Shopify (2026)
Conversion Bear Trust Badges and Searchanise Trust & FOMO are both Shopify apps designed to boost conversions, but they approach this goal with fundamentally different strategies. Conversion Bear focuses on building trust by displaying recognizable trust badges and payment icons, aiming to reassure customers about the security and reliability of the store. In contrast, Searchanise Trust & FOMO leverages social proof and the fear of missing out (FOMO) by displaying visitor counts and low stock alerts on product pages, creating a sense of urgency and scarcity. This makes Conversion Bear appealing to merchants aiming to establish credibility through visual cues, while Searchanise targets those who want to drive immediate action through psychological triggers.

Our Verdict
For new stores or stores with conversion issues stemming from perceived lack of security, Conversion Bear Trust Badges is the clear choice. Its extensive library of badges and detailed styling options allow merchants to quickly and easily instill confidence in their customers. However, for established stores with existing traffic that are looking for a quick sales boost through leveraging FOMO and social proof, Searchanise Trust & FOMO may be more effective. While both apps have 5-star ratings, the much larger number of reviews for Conversion Bear suggests a more established user base and potentially greater reliability, although Searchanise's newer approach might appeal to merchants seeking a different edge.
