Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with overselling and requiring robust inventory control, especially around BFCM, Conversion Pro Plus's Real Cart Reservation and checkout timer might be worth the risk of a lower rating, particularly if inventory management is critical to profitability. However, for merchants prioritizing ease of use, strong user reviews, and a simpler approach to adding countdown timers with potentially integrated upsell features, Sales Countdown Timer & Upsell appears to be the better choice. The high rating and substantial number of reviews suggests a reliable and effective app, even if it lacks the specific inventory management features of Conversion Pro Plus. Merchants should prioritize the inventory control feature offered by Conversion Pro Plus only if the feature set justifies overcoming the lower rating.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?

Sales Countdown Timer & Upsell likely also does, however, this cannot be confirmed from the description.
Which app is better for preventing overselling?
Conversion Pro Plus's Real Cart Reservation feature is specifically designed to prevent overselling by reserving items in the cart, a functionality not explicitly offered in Sales Countdown Timer & Upsell's description.
