Conversios for Microsoft Ads vs FeedFix | Custom XML Feedsfor Shopify (2026)
Conversios for Microsoft Ads and FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds are both Shopify apps that deal with product feeds, but they target vastly different needs. Conversios focuses specifically on integrating with Microsoft's advertising ecosystem. It automates the setup of Microsoft Ads, UET tracking, and product feed synchronization to Microsoft Merchant Center. Its strengths lie in its targeted approach for merchants heavily invested in Microsoft Ads, aiming for accurate conversion tracking and streamlined product updates within that platform. It caters primarily to DTC and ecommerce stores already using or planning to use Microsoft's advertising tools. FeedFix, on the other hand, is a broader product feed management solution. It offers extensive export and import capabilities to various marketplaces, including Google, Meta, Akakce, and many more. Its key advantage is its versatility in creating custom XML feeds and supporting multi-currency, multi-language, and multi-market exports. FeedFix is ideal for merchants seeking to expand their product reach across multiple platforms and require granular control over their product data. It boasts a much higher rating and a significant number of reviews, indicating a stronger user satisfaction and established presence. The import functionality makes FeedFix helpful when a merchant needs to get existing product data *into* Shopify, a function Conversios does not offer. The primary difference lies in their scope. Conversios is laser-focused on Microsoft Ads, while FeedFix offers a wider, more customizable solution for managing feeds across numerous channels.

Our Verdict
For merchants whose primary advertising focus is Microsoft Ads, Conversios for Microsoft Ads *could* be a good starting point, potentially simplifying UET setup and product syncing *if* it works as described. However, the lack of reviews and zero rating raise concerns, making thorough testing and customer support evaluation crucial. The risk is high due to the absence of social proof. For any merchant who requires feed management across a broader range of marketplaces, or who needs robust customization options and import functionality, FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds is the clear and safer choice. Its high rating and numerous reviews signal a reliable and versatile solution. The support of multiple currencies, languages, and marketplaces, combined with custom feed creation, provides a far greater return on investment for merchants selling on multiple channels.
Given the current data, FeedFix is the significantly stronger and more reliable option for most merchants needing product feed management, while Conversios is a high-risk, high-reward gamble if your business is entirely dependent on Microsoft Ads and you are willing to be an early adopter. If Conversios were to acquire positive reviews and a decent rating, it might become more appealing for the Microsoft Ads-centric store.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up for Microsoft Ads?
Conversios *claims* to automate UET tag setup and product sync for Microsoft Ads, potentially making it easier initially. However, without user reviews, its actual ease of use is uncertain. FeedFix doesn't directly focus on Microsoft Ads setup, so it likely requires manual configuration for that platform.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but it's likely redundant. Conversios aims to manage Microsoft Ads-specific feeds and tracking, while FeedFix can handle a wider range of platforms, *including* Microsoft. Using both could create conflicting data or unnecessary complexity.
Which app is better for a beginner in product feed management?
Given the lack of reviews for Conversios, FeedFix is the safer recommendation for a beginner. Its positive reviews suggest a user-friendly experience, and its marketplace templates can simplify the feed creation process. The extensive documentation and support often accompany apps with many reviews.
Which app offers more flexibility in customizing product data?
FeedFix offers significantly more flexibility. Its description highlights powerful data filtering and customization options for imported products and custom feed creation, allowing granular control over product information.
Is Conversios a scam app because of the zero rating?
Not necessarily a scam, but the lack of reviews and a zero rating are significant red flags. It could be a very new app or one with serious issues that deter users. Proceed with extreme caution and conduct thorough testing before committing to a paid plan. Contact their support directly to gauge responsiveness.
