CookieYes GDPR Cookie Banner vs Hextom: Free Shipping Barfor Shopify (2026)
CookieYes GDPR Cookie Banner and Hextom: Free Shipping Bar are both Shopify apps that utilize banners and notifications, but cater to vastly different needs. Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing legal compliance, especially those operating in regions with strict data privacy laws like Europe or California, CookieYes GDPR Cookie Banner is the clear choice. Its Google Gold Certified CMP status and features like cookie scanning and policy generation are essential for ensuring compliance. The low review count could suggest a newer app or a more niche focus.
However, if a merchant's primary goal is to boost sales and increase average order value, Hextom: Free Shipping Bar is the superior option. Its high rating and large number of reviews indicate a proven track record of success. The advanced targeting options and customizable messages allow merchants to tailor their free shipping offers to specific customer segments and locations, maximizing their impact. A store owner needing a quick and easy sales boost will find Hextom far more appealing and immediately beneficial.
