Our Verdict
Based on available data, Impact By Sale appears to be the more mature and feature-rich app with a broader scope. The positive reviews and emphasis on tangible impact measurement and storytelling could make it attractive to merchants prioritizing demonstrable results and customer engagement across multiple environmental causes. Cool Climate Club, while promising, lacks user reviews and focuses narrowly on Canadian reforestation. Its free-to-install model could be appealing to merchants on a budget or those specifically interested in supporting Canadian forests.
For merchants starting their environmental journey and focused on a specific geographical impact, Cool Climate Club offers a simple entry point. However, for those seeking a more comprehensive solution with validated projects, advanced features, and a proven track record (as indicated by the rating and reviews), Impact By Sale is the stronger choice, assuming the pricing aligns with their budget.
