Core Loyalty vs Love Loyalty Program & Rewardsfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing a loyalty and rewards app face a significant disparity between Core Loyalty and Love Loyalty Program & Rewards. Core Loyalty aims to be a comprehensive solution, offering a wide array of features like cashback, upselling pop-ups, games, and VIP tiers, intending to create a robust loyalty program. However, it suffers from a very low rating and extremely few reviews. Conversely, Love Loyalty Program & Rewards focuses on core loyalty features like points, rewards, VIP tiers, referrals, and memberships, emphasizing ease of use, extensive placement options, and Shopify tech integration. Love Loyalty Program & Rewards is likely geared toward established stores looking for a reliable and well-supported loyalty solution, given its high rating and substantial number of reviews. Its focus on speed, Shopify integration, and POS support suggests it is targeting merchants who value efficiency and omnichannel capabilities. Core Loyalty seems positioned for smaller stores or those just starting with loyalty programs, seeking a feature-rich option at potentially a lower cost. However, the low rating and minimal reviews present a significant risk. The inclusion of gamified features and pop-ups suggests an appeal to merchants looking for a more engaging and interactive loyalty experience.

Our Verdict
Love Loyalty Program & Rewards is the stronger choice for most merchants. Its high rating, numerous positive reviews, focus on speed, integration, and robust features like POS support make it a more reliable and scalable solution. The availability of live chat support and migration services further enhance its appeal.
Core Loyalty, despite its promise of a comprehensive feature set, carries significant risk due to its extremely low rating and limited reviews. It *might* be a suitable option for very small businesses willing to experiment and potentially troubleshoot extensively, particularly if the gamified aspects are central to their brand identity. However, the lack of social proof makes it difficult to recommend without significant caution.
