Correios ‑ SEDEX ‑ PAC vs xConnectorfor Shopify (2026)
Correios ‑ SEDEX ‑ PAC and xConnector are Shopify apps that both address shipping needs, but they target vastly different audiences and offer distinct functionalities. Correios ‑ SEDEX ‑ PAC focuses on the Brazilian market, providing automated freight calculation for local carriers like Correios, Jadlog, Loggi, and Total Express. Its primary strength lies in its integration with these specific Brazilian carriers and its ability to handle different contract scenarios, including dropshipping and multi-origin setups. This makes it valuable for merchants selling within Brazil who want accurate shipping rates and delivery estimates. Conversely, xConnector is a broader shipping and fulfillment solution that supports various international carriers, especially European ones (GLS, DPD, Packeta, Sameday, etc.) and invoicing services (SmartBill, Oblio, BillingoHu, FGO). It prioritizes creating shipping labels, invoices, and managing returns, and offers calculated rates. xConnector also has added functionalities like a collect points widget with a map view and a mobile app for picking and packing, making it a more comprehensive tool for merchants with complex shipping and fulfillment operations.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily selling within Brazil and needing accurate freight calculations for Correios and other local carriers, Correios ‑ SEDEX ‑ PAC is the clear choice, despite the lower rating. Its focus on the Brazilian market and specific carrier integrations provides a level of accuracy that xConnector won't match in that region. However, the lower rating (2.7/5) should prompt careful consideration of recent reviews to understand potential issues.
If the merchant operates internationally, especially in Europe, and requires tools for creating shipping labels, invoices, managing returns, and more comprehensive fulfillment management, xConnector is the superior option. Its 5/5 rating suggests a positive user experience. The inclusion of a mobile app for picking and packing makes it particularly attractive for merchants managing a larger inventory and fulfillment operation.
