Cotei ‑ Correios PAC e SEDEX vs Intuitive Shippingfor Shopify (2026)
Cotei ‑ Correios PAC e SEDEX specializes in integrating with the Brazilian postal service, Correios. Its primary strength lies in accurately calculating shipping rates for SEDEX, PAC, Log+, Mini Envios, and international options offered by Correios. It caters specifically to merchants operating in Brazil who rely heavily on Correios for their shipping needs, offering features like contract-based tariffs and dimension-based calculations. In contrast, Intuitive Shipping targets a broader audience of merchants with complex shipping needs, providing highly customizable shipping options through a flexible condition-based system. Intuitive Shipping positions itself as a solution for businesses that have outgrown basic shipping configurations, focusing on offering clarity and control over the checkout experience. Its emphasis is on allowing merchants to define rates that align with their unique operational needs. While Cotei excels in delivering accurate Correios-specific rates, Intuitive Shipping offers greater flexibility in managing the overall shipping strategy, including branding the checkout experience and using smart boxing for dimensional rates. Its focus is less on a single carrier and more on a flexible, highly configurable system which necessitates dedicated human support with onboarding included with every plan.
