Cotei ‑ Correios PAC e SEDEX vs xConnectorfor Shopify (2026)
Cotei ‑ Correios PAC e SEDEX and xConnector are both Shopify apps in the 'Shipping rates' category, but they cater to vastly different needs. Cotei is specifically designed for merchants in Brazil who rely on Correios (the Brazilian postal service) for their shipping. Its strength lies in its comprehensive integration with Correios' various shipping options (SEDEX, PAC, Mini Envios, etc.), allowing merchants to accurately calculate shipping costs and display delivery times to their customers. In contrast, xConnector is a more general-purpose shipping and fulfillment app targeted at merchants who use a variety of local couriers, primarily in Europe, and who need assistance with generating shipping labels, invoices, and managing returns. The key difference lies in their specialization. Cotei provides in-depth support for Correios, including handling contracts and dimension-based estimations. xConnector, on the other hand, focuses on offering a broader range of fulfillment tools, such as shipping label and invoice creation, a return request module, and integration with numerous European couriers and invoicing services. The presence of a mobile app for picking and packing suggests a focus on larger-scale fulfillment operations, while Cotei is likely suitable for smaller businesses primarily using Correios.
