Courses Plus vs Meety: Appointment Booking Appfor Shopify (2026)
Both Courses Plus and Meety: Appointment Booking App boast a high rating of 4.9/5, indicating strong user satisfaction. However, Meety has significantly more reviews (391) compared to Courses Plus (160), suggesting a larger user base and potentially more widespread adoption. Courses Plus is primarily designed for merchants looking to create and sell online courses, digital products, and coaching programs directly through their Shopify store, emphasizing e-learning and knowledge monetization. It focuses on features like AI-assisted course creation, quizzes, student progress tracking, and PDF certificate generation. Meety, on the other hand, centers around appointment booking, enabling merchants to offer scheduling calendars for services and events. Its core strengths lie in calendar synchronization, integrations with popular tools like Zoom and Google Meet, and flexible booking options such as subscriptions, bundles, and waitlists. Both apps support digital products. However, Courses Plus is a more direct path to creating that digital product. Meety is more about services and time. The critical difference is the *type* of digital product being sold. Courses Plus is for *informational* digital products, such as courses and training materials. Meety is for *service-based* digital products where time is the key deliverable. For example, if you're offering tutoring, consultations, or coaching sessions, Meety is the better choice. If you're creating and selling video courses, ebooks, or downloadable guides, Courses Plus is better. Both apps offer subscription support for ongoing access to their digital products.
