Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing a proven solution with existing positive reviews and a streamlined setup, CP: Order Editing & Upsells appears to be the safer choice. The inclusion of 3PL/WMS integrations also makes it appealing to larger merchants with complex fulfillment processes. However, SelfServe: Order Edits Upsells may be a better fit for merchants who need granular control over their order editing workflows and want to implement upsells across multiple touchpoints, including the checkout.
Ultimately, the lack of reviews for SelfServe necessitates caution. Merchants considering it should inquire about demo access or pilot programs to thoroughly evaluate its functionality and stability before committing. Merchants should also investigate the actual depth of workflow automation and its potential to increase administrative overhead.
