CP24 Advanced Wishlist vs Unblocked: Push Notificationsfor Shopify (2026)
CP24 Advanced Wishlist and Unblocked: Push Notifications both leverage push notifications, but address vastly different needs within a Shopify store. CP24 focuses on enhancing the customer wishlist experience and using web push for reminders related to wishlisted items (price drops, low stock). It aims to improve conversion by bringing customers back to items they've already expressed interest in. In contrast, Unblocked targets mobile push notifications directly to iOS and Android devices without requiring a native app. This allows merchants to reach customers on their phones lock screens, promoting product drops, restocks, and flash sales to drive repeat purchases and increase customer retention, automating the engagement without the cost and complexity of SMS or native mobile apps. While CP24 enriches the existing wishlist functionality, Unblocked introduces a novel mobile push notification capability.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily focused on optimizing the wishlist experience and catering to a diverse international audience, CP24 Advanced Wishlist offers a valuable solution, assuming the configuration isn't too cumbersome. The price drop and low stock reminders are powerful conversion tools. However, the very low review count requires caution and thorough testing. Unblocked: Push Notifications targets merchants seeking to directly engage customers on their mobile devices without developing a mobile app. This is ideal for stores that heavily rely on product drops, restocks, and time-sensitive promotions. The zero reviews present a significant risk, suggesting the app is very new or potentially problematic; cautious testing is paramount before adopting. If mobile engagement is a priority and the technology is proven and reliable, Unblocked offers significant potential. However, consider the maturity and risk of a zero-review app.
