CP24 Membership vs Easy hide Paypal Expressfor Shopify (2026)
CP24 Membership and Easy hide Paypal Express are vastly different Shopify apps, despite both being categorized under 'Payment options - Other'. CP24 Membership is a comprehensive membership management solution targeting merchants seeking to build customer loyalty and recurring revenue streams through tiered membership plans, exclusive discounts, and automated order management. It aims to provide a complete ecosystem for creating and managing a membership program, including a customer portal and admin analytics. Easy hide Paypal Express, on the other hand, is a niche utility app. It caters to merchants who offer PayPal as a payment option but want to declutter their checkout page by removing the PayPal Express button. This app targets merchants who believe the visible PayPal Express button may deter customers without PayPal accounts from proceeding to checkout. Its value proposition is simplicity and ease of use, offering a one-click solution to hide the button. The apps target entirely different pain points within the Shopify ecosystem. One aims to build a complex recurring revenue scheme while the other aims to improve conversion rates for a niche problem with checkout UX.

Our Verdict
CP24 Membership is suitable for merchants committed to building a robust membership program with tiered access, exclusive benefits, and automated processes. Its comprehensive feature set caters to businesses looking to foster customer loyalty and generate recurring revenue. The higher rating, despite the small review count, suggests satisfaction from its initial users.
Easy hide Paypal Express is ideal for merchants experiencing (or suspecting) checkout abandonment due to the presence of the PayPal Express button. Its simplicity and ease of use make it a quick solution for a specific UX problem. However, the significantly lower rating suggests potential issues with the app's functionality, reliability, or customer support. Merchants should proceed with caution and closely monitor its impact on their conversion rates if they choose to use it. A larger merchant running AB tests would benefit more from Easy Hide Paypal Express than a merchant simply looking to add a membership program to their Shopify store.
