CP24 Membership vs TryNow: Try Before You Buyfor Shopify (2026)
CP24 Membership and TryNow: Try Before You Buy both enhance the customer experience on Shopify, but they cater to vastly different needs. CP24 Membership focuses on building customer loyalty and recurring revenue through membership programs, offering features like exclusive discounts, automated orders, and a dedicated member portal. It's geared towards merchants wanting to foster a strong, engaged customer base with recurring revenue streams through a subscription model. TryNow, on the other hand, aims to increase conversion rates by allowing customers to try products before committing to a purchase. It emphasizes experiential shopping and aims to overcome purchase hesitation by reducing risk. The core difference lies in their approach to sales. CP24 Membership is about building long-term relationships and predictable income, while TryNow is about removing barriers to initial purchase and leveraging the 'try before you buy' psychology. CP24 requires the creation of membership tiers and corresponding benefits, while TryNow focuses on streamlining the trial and purchase process. Merchants need to determine which strategy aligns better with their product type and overall business goals. While both apps fall under the 'Payment options - Other' Shopify category, their functional focuses are distinctly different.

Our Verdict
Choosing between CP24 Membership and TryNow depends entirely on your business model and objectives. If you're selling products or services that lend themselves to subscription models and you're looking to build a loyal customer base with recurring revenue, CP24 Membership is the better choice. It provides the tools necessary to create and manage membership programs effectively.
However, if your focus is on increasing conversion rates and removing barriers to purchase, particularly for products that customers may hesitate to buy online without trying first, TryNow is the superior option. Its 'try before you buy' model can significantly boost sales. The low review count for CP24 compared to TryNow suggests it might be a newer app, and merchants should consider this when evaluating its stability and support quality.
