Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with precisely controlling the appearance and placement of payment icons and who value a large, specialized icon library, CPI ‑ Custom Payment Icons is the better choice. Its extensive icon selection and ease of use make it ideal for merchants who want a dedicated solution for payment icon management.
However, if a merchant seeks a more comprehensive approach to building trust through a variety of visual elements like badges, banners, and product labels in addition to payment icons, Essential Trust Badges & Icons is the superior option. While it might not offer as granular control over payment icons specifically, it provides a broader toolkit for enhancing website credibility and communicating product features.
