Craftybase Inventory vs Singleton | Verify Customersfor Shopify (2026)
Craftybase Inventory and Singleton | Verify Customers are Shopify apps that cater to very different merchant needs, despite sharing the 'Pricing' category. Craftybase Inventory focuses on inventory and production management specifically for small-batch makers, allowing them to track raw materials, manage production processes with batch and lot tracking, and automatically sync stock levels across sales channels. Its core strength lies in providing accurate COGS calculations, streamlining workflows, and helping merchants scale their manufacturing businesses. Singleton | Verify Customers, on the other hand, is designed to control customer access to product information. It focuses on customer verification, allowing merchants to restrict access to prices and 'add to cart' buttons based on approval status. Craftybase targets businesses involved in manufacturing and production that need robust inventory management capabilities linked to their shop floor. Singleton | Verify Customers caters to merchants who require gated access to their product offerings. It is also suitable for B2B businesses or businesses selling products to specific customer segments who require pre-approval. The choice between these apps hinges on whether the merchant needs inventory management or customer verification. The rating difference of 4.4/5 (24 reviews) compared to 5/5 (78 reviews) suggests Singleton | Verify Customers might have a smoother user experience, or a smaller set of features more easily meeting customer expectations, but Craftybase addresses a more complex set of needs.

Our Verdict
Craftybase Inventory is the clear choice for businesses involved in manufacturing and production. If you need to track raw materials, manage batch production, and accurately calculate your COGS, this app is designed for you. However, the relatively low number of reviews suggests deeper investigation of the onboarding process and support resources is warranted.
Singleton | Verify Customers is ideal if you need to control who sees your prices and 'add to cart' buttons. This is particularly useful for B2B businesses, wholesalers, or those selling exclusive products. The high rating and larger number of reviews suggest a more user-friendly experience. If you need a simple solution for customer access control, Singleton | Verify Customers is the better option.
