Crisp ‑ Helpdesk & AI Chatbot vs Relocate+ Order Editorfor Shopify (2026)
Crisp ‑ Helpdesk & AI Chatbot and Relocate+ Order Editor, while both categorized as helpdesk apps, address fundamentally different aspects of customer support on Shopify. Crisp focuses on providing a comprehensive, AI-powered communication hub designed for direct interaction with customers across multiple channels. Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a comprehensive customer support solution that emphasizes proactive engagement and AI-driven automation across multiple channels, Crisp ‑ Helpdesk & AI Chatbot is the stronger choice. Its strengths lie in its AI capabilities, centralization of communication channels, and ready-to-use AI agents. However, if a merchant's primary goal is to minimize support tickets, reduce returns, and empower customers to manage their orders independently, Relocate+ Order Editor is the superior option. It streamlines the order management process, improves customer satisfaction, and alleviates the support team's workload. It’s about choosing between active (Crisp) and passive (Relocate+) support.
In scenarios where merchants experience a high volume of order-related support requests (e.g., address changes, product swaps), Relocate+ Order Editor provides more direct value. However, for merchants prioritizing real-time communication, proactive customer engagement, and a unified helpdesk experience, Crisp is the better solution. A best-of-breed approach would be integrating both tools, using Relocate+ to solve common order related questions passively, and Crisp to handle more complex issues, questions, and customer support needs.
