Our Verdict
The choice between Criteo Sales Growth Ads and Peel: Retention Analytics depends entirely on a merchant's primary business goals. If the priority is to drive new sales and acquire new customers through advertising, Criteo is likely the better choice. Its automation and direct connection to Criteo's network offer a streamlined approach to advertising campaign management.
However, if the focus is on maximizing customer lifetime value, improving retention rates, and understanding customer behavior, Peel: Retention Analytics is the superior option. Its comprehensive analytics and insights provide the tools needed to make data-driven decisions and optimize retention strategies. For a well-rounded strategy, mature businesses may want to eventually implement both, focusing on acquisition first and retention once a customer base is established.
