CRM PLUS on LINE vs LockPro: Password Protect Lockfor Shopify (2026)
CRM PLUS on LINE and LockPro: Password Protect Lock, while both falling under the 'Accounts and login' category on Shopify, serve drastically different purposes. CRM PLUS on LINE focuses on customer relationship management by integrating Shopify stores with LINE, a popular messaging platform. It enables automated messaging based on customer data and triggers, allowing for personalized communication strategies like abandoned checkout reminders and restock notifications. Its strength lies in enhancing customer engagement and driving sales through targeted LINE messages, especially in regions where LINE is a dominant communication channel. It leverages Shopify customer tags for segmentation and supports more flexible automation via Shopify Flow (if available). Social logins (LINE login) are supported for Shopify Plus users only. LockPro: Password Protect Lock, conversely, prioritizes access control and content restriction within a Shopify store. It allows merchants to password protect products, collections, pages, and even entire stores, catering to B2B wholesale scenarios, private sales, or offering exclusive content to specific customer segments. LockPro's core value proposition is providing granular control over who accesses specific content, including hiding prices, conditional payment options, and wholesale pricing. It offers features like country blocking, customer tag-based access control, and built-in analytics to track access patterns. While CRM PLUS on LINE aims to expand reach and engagement through external communication channels, LockPro concentrates on securing and segmenting access within the Shopify storefront itself. The primary audience for CRM PLUS on LINE is merchants looking to leverage LINE for marketing and customer service, particularly in regions where LINE is popular. The primary audience for LockPro is merchants needing robust access control features, such as B2B wholesalers, retailers offering exclusive member content, or those requiring regional restrictions on product availability.

Our Verdict
The choice between CRM PLUS on LINE and LockPro: Password Protect Lock depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If the primary goal is to leverage the LINE platform for marketing and customer communication, CRM PLUS on LINE is the clear choice. Its ability to automate messages based on customer data and behavior makes it a powerful tool for driving sales and improving customer engagement, especially in regions where LINE is widely used. However, its Shopify Plus requirement for LINE login integration should be considered.
Conversely, if the priority is controlling access to specific products, collections, or pages within the Shopify store, especially for B2B or wholesale purposes, LockPro: Password Protect Lock is the superior option. Its robust password protection features, country blocking, and customer tag-based access control provide a comprehensive solution for managing restricted content. Ultimately, the decision hinges on whether the merchant prioritizes external communication and engagement (CRM PLUS on LINE) or internal access control and content restriction (LockPro).
