Crossborderit IOSS and DDP vs Oxilayer PDF Invoice Generatorfor Shopify (2026)
Crossborderit IOSS and DDP and Oxilayer PDF Invoice Generator are both Shopify apps listed under the 'Finances' and 'Taxes' categories, but they serve vastly different purposes. Crossborderit IOSS and DDP aims to simplify compliance with the EU's Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) regulations, focusing on automating sales data synchronization, reporting, and tax payments for merchants shipping low-value goods to Europe. Its core value proposition lies in its IOSS automation, making it easier for merchants to navigate complex European tax laws and potentially pass VAT costs onto buyers at checkout. However, its significantly lower rating and limited number of reviews compared to Oxilayer suggests potential user experience or functionality issues. Oxilayer PDF Invoice Generator, on the other hand, centers on creating professional-looking PDF invoices. Its high rating and substantial number of positive reviews suggest users find it effective and easy to use. Unlike Crossborderit IOSS and DDP, it doesn't address tax compliance directly, but rather streamlines the invoicing process, which is a crucial aspect of financial management for any e-commerce business. Its strength lies in generating invoices, not automating tax payments or compliance.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on streamlining their invoicing process and creating professional PDF documents, Oxilayer PDF Invoice Generator is the clear choice. Its overwhelmingly positive reviews suggest a reliable and user-friendly experience. However, for merchants who require assistance with navigating IOSS regulations and automating tax payments for European shipments, Crossborderit IOSS and DDP is the only option presented; but, they should proceed with caution given its low rating and investigate user reviews to understand potential challenges before committing. It's crucial to weigh the need for IOSS automation against the app's reported user experience issues. If IOSS compliance isn't needed, there's little reason to choose Crossborderit IOSS and DDP.
