Crossborderit IOSS and DDP vs Simple Affiliatefor Shopify (2026)
Crossborderit IOSS and DDP and Simple Affiliate are two Shopify apps that, despite sharing the 'Finances' and 'Taxes' categories, serve entirely different purposes. Crossborderit IOSS and DDP aims to simplify and automate the complexities of IOSS compliance for merchants shipping low-value goods to Europe. Its focus is on tax compliance, reporting, and facilitating VAT payments, positioning itself as a low-cost solution for international sellers. However, its extremely low rating and small number of reviews suggest significant user experience issues. Simple Affiliate, on the other hand, is an affiliate marketing platform designed to help merchants drive sales through influencer and referral programs. It offers features for managing affiliates, tracking sales, and automating commission payouts. Its perfect rating and a significantly larger number of reviews indicate high user satisfaction. The core difference lies in their functionality: one addresses tax compliance, while the other focuses on sales growth through affiliate marketing.
