Our Verdict
SEO Speed Image Optimizer is best suited for Shopify merchants who prioritize ease of use, automation, and accessibility. Its bulk editing, alt text optimization, and reporting dashboard allow users to quickly and efficiently improve their store's SEO without delving into the technical details of image compression and renaming. The high rating reinforces user satisfaction with its ease of use and noticeable impact on the stores' SEO.
Crush: Speed & Image Optimizer caters to merchants who desire more control over the image optimization process. The ability to manually add images and select specific compression algorithms offers greater flexibility and customization. This is valuable for stores with specific image requirements or those targeting highly competitive keywords where nuanced optimization is crucial. Although with a slightly lower rating and more steps for automation, Crush’s additional features are an asset.
