Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary need is to establish a professional online presence through branded email addresses and streamline email management within the Shopify admin, then CS - Business Email is the superior choice. The ability to create unlimited custom email addresses and manage them centrally is a significant advantage. However, if the priority is to simplify the process of receiving and managing customer support requests, especially without investing in a full-fledged helpdesk system, then POWR: Customer Support Request is more suitable. Its integration with existing CRM systems and features like conditional logic provide a streamlined approach to customer support.
Given the lack of reviews for POWR and the perfect rating (albeit with low review count) for CS, CS - Business Email currently appears to be the safer option in terms of user satisfaction. However, merchants should carefully assess their specific needs and consider requesting trials of both apps to determine which best aligns with their workflow.
