Our Verdict
For merchants requiring robust image management capabilities, such as exporting product visuals for other marketing channels or creating backups, CS ‑ Export Product Images is the clear choice. Its flexible filtering, naming conventions, and download progress monitoring cater specifically to these use cases. However, if the primary goal is to enhance website performance and improve SEO through image optimization, SEO Speed Image Optimizer is the superior option. Its automated compression, resizing, and alt text optimization, along with the SEO image report, directly address the challenges of slow loading times and poor search engine visibility. While both apps have 5-star ratings, the significantly higher number of reviews for SEO Speed Image Optimizer suggests wider adoption and potentially greater user satisfaction within its specific niche.
