Cupid ‑ Social Wishlist vs Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlistfor Shopify (2026)
Cupid ‑ Social Wishlist and Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist cater to different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. Cupid focuses solely on wishlist functionality, emphasizing simplicity and performance with its claim of "Pagespeed Friendly, No External JS." Its core value proposition lies in enabling customers to easily save and share products, potentially driving sales through collaborative shopping experiences. However, the lack of reviews and a zero rating raises concerns about its reliability and current state of development or support. Froonze, on the other hand, offers a more comprehensive solution, combining loyalty programs, wishlists, and enhanced customer dashboards. Froonze's strength lies in its feature-rich approach and established reputation, evidenced by its 5/5 rating and 213 reviews. It targets merchants looking for a holistic customer engagement strategy, offering loyalty points, VIP tiers, referrals, and integrations with Shopify Store Credit. While more complex, Froonze aims to provide greater value through its wider range of features, including email alerts and customizable notification templates. The ease of migration from other loyalty apps also makes it attractive for merchants seeking to switch providers. The key differentiator is the breadth of features; Cupid focuses narrowly on wishlists, while Froonze provides a broader loyalty and customer engagement platform.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing a straightforward wishlist functionality with a focus on speed and simplicity, Cupid ‑ Social Wishlist might seem appealing. However, the lack of reviews and a zero rating represent a significant risk. It's difficult to ascertain its reliability or the level of support provided. It's best suited for extremely techincal merchants who are willing to take a risk on a new app.
On the other hand, Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist is the recommended choice for most Shopify merchants. Its established reputation, numerous positive reviews, and comprehensive feature set offer a more reliable and valuable solution. While potentially more complex to set up, the breadth of functionality, including loyalty programs, VIP tiers, and integrations, provides a greater return on investment for merchants looking to build long-term customer relationships and drive sales.
