Our Verdict
Given the available data in 2026, Multi Wishlist-MyAppGurus is the safer choice for merchants primarily concerned with a proven track record of positive user experiences. The 5/5 rating and 6 reviews, while not extensive, provide some confidence in its functionality and usability. Cupid ‑ Social Wishlist is a more speculative option. Merchants prioritizing cutting-edge Shopify 2.0 compatibility, specifically with a focus on page speed and wishlist sharing, and are willing to take a risk on an app with no existing reviews, might consider Cupid. However, thorough testing would be essential before widespread implementation.
Common Questions
Which app is more likely to be bug-free?
Based on the available data, Multi Wishlist‑MyAppGurus is more likely to be relatively bug-free due to the positive reviews. The lack of reviews for Cupid ‑ Social Wishlist means its stability is unknown.
Which app is better for a new Shopify store?
Multi Wishlist‑MyAppGurus would be the better choice for a new store. Having an app with positive feedback will help build trust with new customers. A store with no existing customer base should avoid untested apps like Cupid ‑ Social Wishlist.
Does Multi Wishlist-MyAppGurus enable wishlist sharing?
The available information does not explicitly state that Multi Wishlist-MyAppGurus enables wishlist sharing. It is implied given the name, but this functionality would need to be confirmed through further investigation.
Which app provides better insight into customer preferences for targeted marketing?
Both apps aim to provide insight for targeted marketing, but Cupid explicitly mentions this use case in its description. Therefore, Cupid might provide more advanced analytics or features specifically for this purpose. However, without direct feature comparisons, we can't be sure which app is better at this task.
Is Cupid truly pagespeed friendly?
Cupid claims to be pagespeed friendly due to the absence of external JavaScript. This is a positive attribute, but further testing would be required to determine its real-world impact on pagespeed compared to other apps or no wishlist functionality at all.
