Currency Converter Bear vs Elfsight Scroll to Top Buttonfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, comparing Currency Converter Bear and Elfsight Scroll to Top Button reveals stark differences in their purpose and market reception. Currency Converter Bear is designed to enhance the international shopping experience by automatically displaying prices in the customer's local currency based on geolocation. With a perfect 5/5 rating from 109 reviews, it has gained traction among merchants aiming to expand globally. Key features include integration with Shopify Markets, customizable design, and frequent exchange rate updates. It targets businesses seeking to reduce friction for international customers and optimize conversion rates. Elfsight Scroll to Top Button, on the other hand, appears to be a non-starter with no reviews and a 0/5 rating. Based on its name alone, its purpose is assumed to be to add a simple convenience feature to allow users to quickly scroll to the top of a page. While both apps fall under the 'Geolocation' category on the Shopify App Store, the extent of geolocation usage is fundamentally different, and the Elfsight app has a poor reception or perhaps is a new app with no users.

Our Verdict
For merchants aiming to increase international sales and provide a seamless localized shopping experience, Currency Converter Bear is the clear choice. Its strong rating, positive reviews, and specific features like Shopify Markets integration and automatic currency switching demonstrate its effectiveness. Merchants should consider Currency Converter Bear for streamlining their international operations and reducing customer friction.
Elfsight Scroll to Top Button, with no reviews or rating, is a highly risky choice in comparison. It might offer a basic usability feature, but its lack of user validation makes it difficult to recommend. Unless a merchant has a very specific need for *only* a simple scroll-to-top function, and is willing to risk implementing an untested app, there are likely other better options to enhance overall UX.
