Our Verdict
The choice between Custom Blend Options and OPTIS Color Swatch Variants hinges entirely on the specific needs of the Shopify merchant. If the merchant sells products that can be custom-blended from a selection of ingredients (e.g., custom teas, coffee blends, essential oil mixes), Custom Blend Options is the clear choice, despite the lack of reviews. However, if the merchant sells products with numerous variations based on visual attributes (e.g., clothing, accessories, home decor), OPTIS Color Swatch Variants is the superior option, boasting a perfect rating and a substantial number of positive reviews. The latter app’s proven performance and dedicated support make it a lower-risk choice in that scenario.
