Our Verdict
For merchants looking to gather personalized information from customers *before* checkout, Custom Product Fields appears to be tailored. However, its lack of reviews is a significant concern. On the other hand, G: Combined Listings & Variant is geared towards stores struggling with complex variant management, large product catalogs, and a desire for enhanced visual presentation. Given its high rating and substantial number of reviews, G: Combined Listings & Variant presents a less risky choice for merchants needing variant management solutions, *if* the merchant wants combined listings. Without any customer validation, Custom Product Fields is hard to recommend without extensive testing and due diligence.
